This course has been approved by the State of Florida Department of Health and meets CHAPTER 64E-28 educational requirements that satisfy Florida state statute sections 381.00771-381.00791.
CHC is offering this course in cities throughout Florida for every tattoo artist and permanent make-up artist. We will be booking classes in Florida's metropolitan areas throughout the year. Depending on the demand, we will book classes in less populated regions of Florida, as well. Please call about scheduling and availability.
As of now the Florida State statutes only require this course to be taken one time. This is subject to change depending on the legislation.
What to expect in this course:
-Lecture on bloodborne pathogens and communicable diseases
-Written test. Must receive 70% or greater to pass the course.
-Q & A.
-Remediation and test re-take (if necessary).
-Issuance of a certificate of compliance
**Note: You must be 18 yrs old to take this course. Make sure that you bring either a state or federal picture ID in order to sit for the class.**
